Adult Interventional Psychiatrist
Board-certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Chief resident at Banner University of Arizona Medical Center, and founder of this practice in 2009. He also provides ECT on staff at Honor Health Tempe.
Physician Assistant
Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and a clinical trial investigator in depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. He treats patients across the whole lifespan.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Board-certified, with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University and over twelve years serving the Phoenix community. Her work centres on people whose needs are complex.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Combines medication management, supportive therapy and evidence-based practice, with advanced psychiatric training from Herzing University and a background in behavioral health and acute care nursing.

This clinic was built around the patients who are hardest to help. Serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use, geriatric complexity and prior treatment failures are the work we do every day — not the exception.

The starting point for most people. A 90-minute evaluation, then 30-minute follow-ups — long enough to talk about how it is actually going.
Magnetic stimulation for depression that medication has not lifted. Drug-free, no sedation, and you drive yourself home. Sessions from three minutes.
Esketamine nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression, given here under supervision at a REMS-certified center.
For severe or urgent cases, provided by Dr. Gómez on staff at Honor Health Tempe. Still the most effective treatment there is for some presentations.

What we are recommending, why, what to expect and when — including what we are not doing. Not every plan starts with a prescription.
Thirty minutes each, long enough to talk about how it is actually going. If the plan stops working, we change it rather than repeat it.

Yes. Evaluations, medication management and follow-up visits can be done virtually anywhere in Arizona. Some patients do the first appointment in person and everything after that from home. Procedures such as TMS and ECT are done in person.
