Board-certified in Adult Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Chief resident at Banner University of Arizona Medical Center, and founder of this practice in 2009. He also provides ECT on staff at HonorHealth Tempe.
Physician Assistant
Board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and a clinical trial investigator in depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. He treats patients across the whole lifespan.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
Board-certified, with a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Arizona State University and over twelve years serving the Phoenix community. Her work centres on people whose needs are complex.
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Combines ongoing psychiatric care, supportive therapy and evidence-based practice, with advanced psychiatric training from Herzing University and a background in behavioral health and acute care nursing.

This practice is experienced in treating complex psychiatric conditions, including serious mental illness, co-occurring substance use, geriatric psychiatric needs and conditions that have not adequately responded to previous treatment.
Adolescents through geriatric. Tell us the age on the first call and we will say straight away whether we are the right practice for it.
Medication management is one option, but it isn't the only one. When appropriate, our team can also evaluate patients for interventional treatments including TMS, SPRAVATO® and ECT.

Non-invasive magnetic stimulation for depression that has not adequately responded to prior treatment. TMS does not require sedation, and patients can typically drive themselves home after treatment. Session duration varies by treatment protocol, with some protocols lasting as little as approximately three minutes.
SPRAVATO® (esketamine) nasal spray for adults with treatment-resistant depression, administered under supervision at our REMS-certified treatment center.
For severe or urgent cases, provided by Dr. Gómez on staff at Honor Health Tempe. For certain severe psychiatric conditions, ECT may be considered when rapid or substantial clinical improvement is needed. Dr. Gómez provides ECT at HonorHealth Tempe Medical Center.
